This is a book cover that I designed and created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. I designed a book cover for one of my favourite films; 'Pan's Labyrinth'. This was done as part of an assignment for college. I believe that my overall design reflects the film's aesthetics.

 

I designed the font for the book's title myself. The font is based on my own hand-drawn sketches, where I combined a gothic style with elements of the natural world. The final typeface was then produced in Adobe Illustrator and combined with hand-drawn images and photography. I believe my design for this book cover perfectly conveys the dark elements of the story. I received positive feedback after showcasing this project and I achieved a high grade for this module.
